Habitat and Botany of Ashwagandha:

Ashwagandha is a small shrub and has small yellow flowers that turn to red fruits. It is approx 1.5 meters tall and is cultivated in different regions like Punjab, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Nepal, Madhya Pradesh, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, etc.

Ashwagandha grows in a dry climate, and its roots are brownish-white color on the outer side and white color on the inner side. The leaves are ovate shape, and dull green. Flowers are orange-red and have a diameter of approx 6 millimeters.
