Hingwadi Churnam – Ayurvedic Classical Medicine:
Digestive & astringent and thus useful in diarrhea and dysentery. Hingwadi Churnam can be used with Rasa parpati in chronic diarrhoea & roasted terminalia chebula or husk of isabagol in dysentery.
Ingredients of Hingwadi Churnam
Each 5gms. contains:Shudh Hing (Ferula asfoetida), Saunth (Zingiber officinale), Pippali (Piper longum), Marich (Piper nigrum), Chavaya (Piper retrofractum), Chitrakmool (Plumbago zeylanicum), Hauber (Juniperus communis), Harad (Terminalia chebula), Kachur (Curcuma zeodoria), Ajwain (Trachyspermum ammi), Imli (Tamarindus indica), Amlavetas (Garcinio Pendunculata), Anardana (Punica granatum), Pushkar mool (Inula rasemosa), Dhania (Coriandrum sativum), Shwet jeera (Cuminum cyminum), Vacha (Acorus calamus), Yav kshar (Alkalies), Sajji kshar (Alkalies), Saindhav lavan (Rock salt), Vidd lavan (Vidd lavan), Sauvarchal lavan (Sauvarchal lavan), Krishan lavan (Black salt), Samundra lavan (Sea salt)-4.16% each of the above ingredients.
Dosage of Hingwadi Churnam
2 gm to 4 gm twice in a day with water or as directed by the physician.
