Kumaryasava – Ayurvedic Classical Medicine:
It is also known as Kumari Asava is a poly herbal liquid medicine. The main constituent of kumaryasava is Aloe vera and is highly recommended to manages piles, gastritis, cough, cold, breathlessness, etc.
Composition of Kumaryasava:
Each 15 ml contains:
Kumari rasa (Aloe vera)-1 part, Guda (Jaggery)-2.56 parts, Pakva Loha bhasma (Calcined iron)-0.0015, Shunthi (Zingiber officinalis), Marich (Piper nigrum), Pippali (Piper longum), Lavanga (Syzygium aromaticum), Tavak (Cinamum zeylanicum), Sukshamaila (Elettaria cardamum), Tejpatra (Cinamum inners), Nagkeshar (Mesua ferrea), Chitrakmool (Plumbago zeylanicum), Pippalamool (Piper longum root), Vidanga (Embelia ribes), Gajapippali (Scindapsus officinalis), Chavya (Piper chaba), Hapusha (Juniperus communis), Supari (Acacia catechu), Kutaki (Piororrhiza kurroa), Mustak (Cyperus rotundus), Harad (Terminalia chebula), Bahera (Terminalia bellerica), Amla (Emblica officinalis).
Rasna (Pluchea lanceolata), Devdaru (Cedrus deodaru), Haridra (Curcuma longa), Daruharidra (Berberis asristata), Murva (Marsdenia tenacissima), Giloye (Tinospora cordifolia), Dhantimool (Baliospermum montanum), Pushkarmool (Inula racemosa), Bala (Sida cordifolia), Atibala (Abutilon indicum), Kaunch beej (Mucuna pruriens), Gokshuru (Tribulus terrestris), Saunf (Foeniculum vulgare), Hingupatri (Ferula Jaeschkeana), Akarkara (Anayclus Pyrethrum), Jaipala (Croton tiglium), Shavet punarnava (Boerrhavia diffusa), Rakt punarnava (Boerrhavia diffusa), Lodhra (Symplacos racemosa), Swarna makshika bhasma (Calcined cholcopyrite)-0.0015 parts (each of the above ingredients), Dhatki pushpa (Woodfordia fruitcosa)-0.03 parts.

Indications of Kumaryasava:
Useful in Abdominal lump, pain due to gastric ulcer, Enlargement of spleen & Liver, loss of appetite, Anaemia, cough, cold,
bronchitis, urinary disorders, disorder of semen, Hysteria, loss of memory & epistaxis. Also useful in menstrual disorders, Constipation & all other Uterine Ailments in women.
15 to 30 ml. with an equal quantity of water half an hour after meals twice daily or as directed by the physician
